Lo scorso weekend mi sono concessa un meraviglioso soggiorno presso il Resort Terme di Saturnia. Questa struttura a cinque stalle nasce intorno alla famosa Sorgente Termale, conosciuta fin dall’antichità; basti pensare che gli etruschi attribuivano alle sue acque una caratteristica di sacralità e i romani vi si immergevano giovandosi delle sue proprietà benefiche.

La strada per raggiungere l’hotel è circondata dal verde e il paesaggio tipicamente toscano, con una campagna da cartolina.

La struttura possiede anche un vasto campo da golf, con certificazione GEO.

Una volta arrivati, ci precipitiamo in camera e diamo un’occhiata ai trattamenti a disposizione: massaggi e rituali, trattamenti viso e corpo, cure termali e beauty services. C’è l’imbarazzo della scelta ma optiamo per un massaggio totale. Che dire? Puro relax. La SPA è accogliente e curata e il servizio è ottimo.

Decidiamo poi di trascorrere il resto il tempo fuori, godendoci la giornata di sole. L’hotel dispone di un’ampia vasca termale e vasche idromassaggio alle quali possono accedere solo gli ospiti; a differenza del restante spazio termale, che è aperto anche ai clienti esterni. Questo garantisce un’esperienza del tutto diversa, in un ambiente di calma e tranquillità.

Il soggiorno prosegue nel migliore dei modi, tra i benefici dell’acqua, i deliziosi estratti a base di frutta fresca e un piacevole riposo.

Il giorno seguente ci aspetta una colazione davvero deliziosa: c’è una vasta scelta di dolce e salato ed è tutto squisito.

Purtroppo è giunto il momento ti ripartire. Non ci sono parole per descrivere quanto un luogo del genere possa ristorare il corpo e la mente. Un’esperienza davvero meravigliosa che non vediamo l’ora di rifare!

Last weekend I treated myself to a wonderful stay at the Terme di Saturnia Resort. This five-stall hotel was created around the famous Hot Spring, known since ancient times; suffice it to say that the Etruscans attributed to its waters a characteristic of sacredness and the Romans bathed in it, taking advantage of its beneficial properties.

The road to the hotel is surrounded by greenery and the typical Tuscan landscape with postcard-perfect countryside.

The facility also has an extensive golf course, with GEO certification.

Once we arrive, we go to our room and take a look at the treatments available: massages and rituals, facials and body treatments, spa treatments and beauty services. We are spoiled for choice but opt for a total massage. What to say. Pure relaxation. The SPA is cozy and well-kept and the service is great.

We then decide to spend the rest of the time outside, enjoying the sunny day. The hotel has a large spa and hot tubs that only guests can access; unlike the remaining spa space, which is also open to outside guests. This ensures an entirely different experience in an environment of calm and tranquility.

The stay continues in the best possible way, between the benefits of water, delicious fresh fruit extracts and a pleasant rest.

The next day we have a really delicious breakfast: there is a wide selection of sweet and savory and everything is delicious.

Unfortunately, the time has come for you to leave again. There are no words to describe how much a place like this can restore the body and mind. A truly wonderful experience that we can’t wait to do again!
